Belden Alternative Cable

Commtech supplies a wide range of Belden Alternative cable – all manufactured to a very high standard to mirror the characteristics of genuine Belden cable, but offered at a far lower price.

We have over 100 lines available off the shelf on a next day delivery to most locations in the UK The majority of our stock lines are LSF as standard, we also carry Duct grade, Direct Burial and SWA versions of certain product types.

SCREENED SINGLE PAIR CABLE (Belden Alternative) General Purpose Cable with foil screened single pairs used predominantly in Instrumentation / Data and Audio applications. The Polyethylene insulation minimises signal loss. Construction consists of a Tinned Copper conductor, Polyethylene insulation, Polyester foil screen, with a Tinned Copper Drain Wire. The sheath is Grey on PVC and LSF versions and Black on Duct Grade versions.

LOW CAPACITANCE – INDIVIDUALLY SCREENED MULTI-PAIR CABLE (Belden Alternative)

Suitable for RS232 and High Data rate situations where low capacitance and isolation between the pairs is essential such as CAD or CAM applications.

Construction consists of a Tinned Copper Conductor, Foam Polyolefin insulation. Each pair is twisted and individually foil screened. Outer sheath is either White or Grey.
